Starting

To start, the following conditions must be met:

• key to the right (the start position).
• headlight on
• the ON-OFF handlebar switch (right hand side) must be in the OFF position.
• kickstand in the up position (or you will be prompted in the display that it is down)
• throttle must be in the idle position
• no general fault existing in the electrical system

then

• press the tank button for one second. It will flash. The system checks to see if all is okay, and, if it is, the tank button stops flashing and will be lit steadily.

then

• move the ON-OFF handlebar switch to "ON". You will hear a faint click as the Enertia enters "Drive Mode." The four green LEDs at the top of the display will blink sequentially. You are ready to go.
